What we collect when you contact us, what we do with it, and how to stop hearing from us. Written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Who we are
Zimick Electric LLC, 145 Coolidge Ave, Englewood, NJ 07631. Phone (201) 350-6215. Email info@zimickelectric.com. We are a commercial electrical contractor. This policy covers this website and the messages we send to people who contact us through it.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site, plus a small amount of technical context that comes with it:
- Your name, company, role, email address, and phone number.
- The project or facility address, town, and state.
- What you told us about the work: building type, dates, urgency, access windows, and your description of the scope or problem.
- How you heard about us, if you tell us.
- Which page you submitted from, the site that referred you, and the date and time of the submission.
- Whether you ticked either of the optional communication boxes, and the exact wording of the consent language shown to you when you did.
We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site. There is no cookie banner because we do not set marketing cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, which never leaves your device.
Why we keep the consent wording
If you tick a box giving us permission to send marketing calls or texts, we store the sentence you agreed to along with the timestamp. That is deliberate. It means that if there is ever a question about what you agreed to, the answer is a matter of record rather than a matter of memory.
What we do with it
We use your contact details to answer your request, price the work, ask the questions we need answered to price it, and schedule the job. That is the whole point of the form and it does not require any additional permission from you.
Separately, and only if you ticked the relevant box, we may send you marketing email or marketing calls and texts. Those two permissions are independent. Ticking neither still gets your request answered.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with lead brokers, marketing partners, or any other contractor. Nobody buys a list from us.
Text messaging, specifically
Mobile phone numbers collected for text messaging, and your consent to receive texts, are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. They are used by Zimick Electric LLC to contact you and for no other purpose.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Who else touches the data
We are a small company and we use ordinary business software rather than building our own. The providers that process your information on our behalf are:
- Vercel, which hosts this website and receives your form submission in transit.
- HighLevel, the customer relationship system where your inquiry is stored so it does not get lost, and from which our email and text messages are sent.
- Microsoft 365, which carries our company email.
Each of them is bound by their own agreement with us to process the data only for the purpose of providing that service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How to stop hearing from us
You can withdraw permission at any time, by any reasonable method, and you do not have to use a particular one. Any of these works:
- Reply STOP to a text message.
- Click unsubscribe at the bottom of a marketing email.
- Email info@zimickelectric.com and say so in plain words.
- Call (201) 350-6215 and tell whoever answers.
- Tell any of our people, in the office or in the field.
We honor opt-out requests across every channel, not only the one you used to ask, and we act on them promptly and in no case later than ten business days after we receive the request.
Opting out of marketing does not stop us replying about a live job, an open bid, a scheduled service call, or an invoice. That correspondence is part of the work you asked us to do.
How long we keep it
Inquiries and the correspondence attached to them are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the work and for our own records, including records of what you consented to. If you want your information deleted, email us and ask. We will do it, subject to anything we are required to retain for tax, insurance, warranty, or legal reasons.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@zimickelectric.com. We will not charge you for asking and we will not treat you differently for having asked.
Children
This site is for commercial and residential construction inquiries. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will tell the people affected directly rather than quietly editing the page.
