Utility incentive programs are almost always limited to that utility's own customers. A building in Mahwah cannot apply to a PSE&G commercial efficiency or charging program no matter how close it is to a PSE&G town. It has to look at Rockland Electric's programs and at statewide New Jersey programs instead. Contractors who work mostly in PSE&G territory get this wrong, quote an incentive that does not exist for the property, and the owner finds out late.
